Scotch on the Rocks

I went on stage tonight, dressed as a woman (a really ugly one, at that), and made a fool of myself to make the audience laugh.  This was opening night for "Love, Sex, and the IRS."  They did laugh, so... mission accomplished.  It would have really sucked if I went through all that and no one thought it was funny.


I've been so busy with rehearsals and work, I haven't blogged or read my neighbor's blogs for a couple of weeks.  I will work on getting caught up with it all tomorrow.  Tonight, I'm drinking scotch and feeling pretty good about myself.

Okay, I really wish I'd seen that play. For starters, the sets are really professionaland I can tell by the actors body positions that it may be amatuer theatre, but these actors are truly professional. Pax, I love the Goofy slippers and --ooh --honey, you've got great cheekbones! ; ) LOL GREAT photos, Strix! Thanks!

Great prop and costume dept. Not to imply that you have large feet, but where did they find heels that could fit you?

They're size thirteen, and they had to special order them. They had two and a half inch heels, and were thoroughly uncomfortable.

Holy Cow! I thought Hubs had a large shoe size- his is a twelve. I think one of my sons has a size thirteen. Your theatre group must have some costume budget! Do they let you keep the heels, or do they belong tothe prop dept?

Mens and womens shoe sizes are different. I wear 10.5 or 11 in mens. The heals happily belong to the costumer, as I no longer have use for them. :->

I thought the heels were a size 13 men's. I actuallly went back to look at your feet and then saw the Goofy slippers. You can imagine what I thought. ; )
